I can only say I like your song and kudos to you for putting yourself out there because I couldn't. Hell, I used to vomit before musical auditions because I was so freaked out about singing.
When I was 4 or so we were at my grandparents' farm and my mom and I went to the chicken coop to gather eggs. I vividly remember her opening the door and then urgently saying, "Run tonks!" A swarm of hornets chased us back to the house. Those are some seriously mean SOBs. Then, years ago I got stung twice by yellow jackets on the back of my ear while cliff diving. Holy hell did that hurt. I can't imagine being on the receiving end of 14 stings. Shit.
Kids are a pain in the ass- anyone who tells you differently is lying through their teeth. That said, they're totally, 100% worth it. Usually.
Also, I'm really happy you were able to get some much needed time with your mom. :)
